My Shiney Happy Blog!

“A revolution is an idea that has found its boyonets…” Napoleon

I just thought the quote was interesting…sooo I chose it as my title :D

I’ve had a bad end to the week and decided it was time to write my second blog…

Due to the stress of school starting and issues with my roommate and so called friend, I have retreated to my friend AJ’s basement and am enjoying the food eating extravaganza known as Man vs. Food and my friends amazing vintage 60’s furniture.

Speaking of vintage, that kicks off my favorite things of the week list…

1. Billie Holiday

Not only does her music calm me down and allow me to think now and then, but it’s something that I never get sick of hearing. Her voice is not something heard very much today amongst all of the pop and alternative music flooding the radio stations or something easily imitated.

Sometimes it makes wish I could go back in time and live in that period of history…

2. Hershey Hugs

I NEVER see Hugs anywhere anymore, so whenever I do see these elusive little kisses, I always get like 2-3 bags. They’re oh so tasty and delicious…I recently found them at a store and gave in :D lol

3. Tattoos and Piercings

I’ve always been in love with tattoos and piercings. I really can’t explain why. I think its just the fact that it differentiates you from everyone else and that it can be considered taboo in some places/cultures. I already have one tattoo on my shoulder and plan on getting many more and also have a few piercings (nose, vertical industrial, gaged ears, lip used to be pierced).

4. Pin Up Girl Make Up

Probably one of my favorite make looks everrrr. I partly love the simplicity of it. Just a simple winged eyeliner, and red lips maybe throw a flower in your hair. Love… <3

5. Electricity…

Simple…one of the best inventions ever. lol :)

Yyyyuppp….soooo I guess thats my blog for the week…..until the next :)
